Rikhav Infotech now five year Young

Last Friday was a special one for my company, On 16th of March 2012, Rikhav Infotech completed five years as a registered Private Limited company and it has been a heck of a journey. I have been with this company for over two years and I feel proud to be associated with this brand name. I have also seen the company go through ups and downs; the journey hasn’t been easy. This company first started in 2006 at a small residential premise at Ghatkopar and although I wasn’t there, I have heard from my fellow office mates that it was a really good office. It was a small yet cohesive team which worked together and had lots of fun together. Then we shifted to a bigger office at KBC (Kanara Business Center) and things changed. Our family grew and we spent a very memorable time there as well. This was when I joined the company as a content writer for technology blogs. In no time we shifted to a huge office in Thane  [...]

Internet is now omnipresent and Web is now growing at lightening speed. In such times, if any business doesn’t have blog of its own, then it is surely missing out on a lot of things. A lot of business owners don’t even have any idea of how blogs can boost their business and improve their sales effectively. For those who don’t know; business or corporate blogging is managing blogs for improving the business. Michael Martine from Remarkablogger says, “The benefits of a website (for business) are undeniable. As a platform for websites, blogs magnify those benefits tremendously, delivering on them better than a non-blog website can.” Business owners will certainly find it hard to ignore the power of such new media. If they do ignore it any ways then such entrepreneurs are sure to lose  [...]

Hopefully this will be new start to my next level entrepreneurship, which will take company to greater heights in coming year. You can never make same mistake twice, because second time you make, it’s not a mistake, it’s a choice. “ When people walk away from you, let them go. Your destiny is never tied to anyone who leaves you, and it doesn’t mean they are bad people. It just means that their part in your story is over.” “Surround yourself with people who know your worth. You don’t need too many people to be happy, just a  [...]

What Experience you should have as a CEO of an IT company?

Earlier last week, I was chatting with few CEO's of leading IT companies in India,  for few ideas I had in order to launch Niche portals for Indian Internet users. Post this conversation, while I was playing with my KID, an idea came in my mind. The word "Chief Executive Officer" doesn't convey much, If something. I have absolute way to describe, what shall be the exact role of a CEO. Taking Liberty to explain things my way, Feel free to correct me, if I have missed on anything, If one can achieve these points, I am sure he/she will be the most successful CEO & will drive company big way. (1) Do you have Product Experience to Drive: What people are taking after using your Product, what kind of Value is being generated from the Product? Your product is solving all concerns of the user, are they Delighted after using your Product? VS your product is making them annoyed, Angry & they have an opinion that your product is crap? Do they feel company is forcing them to use  [...]

Tech world loses its hero, Steve Jobs is no more

I woke up on a lazy Thursday morning; switched on the TV and suddenly my hair stood up on its end. NDTV was flashing - Steve Jobs is dead. Everyone is talking about it and it isn’t surprising that his death is dominating the headlines of even the Marathi and Hindi newspapers today. Steve Jobs was more than just a CEO of a company. He was an exceptional inventor, visionary, entertainer, and salesman. When Apple was introducing the world to its latest smartphone - the Apple iPhone 4S, Steve Jobs was in the hospital battling pancreatic cancer. But no one knew that death would lay its icy hands over him at an age of 56. Jobs had been struggling with pancreatic cancer for over seven years; he resigned as the CEO in January 07, 2011 due to health problems. The disease finally got better of him. For those who don’t know, Steve Jobs started Apple Inc. along with Steve Wozniack in the year 1976 and he left the company due to power disputes in 1985.  [...]
